Meet The Team

Teena has been working in the dental industry since 1988. She went to vocational school for dental assisting in high school and assisted at a General and Orthodontic practice for a while. A few years later, she transitioned into the administrative side of the dental field. Her extensive experience and training in the clinical side of dentistry has molded her into a master insurance coordinator, treatment coordinator, and office manager. During her free time, Teena loves spending time with her dogs Cora and Reba, making tumblers, and catching rays by the pool.

Tammi attended Florence Darlington Technical College to study dental hygiene and got her degree in 1988. She’s been at Modern Family Dentistry since 1999, around the same Dr. Kolmodin and Dr. Chadwick took over the practice. In her many years here, Tammi has built meaningful, lasting relationships with her patients. She’s enjoyed getting to know them over the years and has appreciated playing an important role in their oral hygiene journeys. During her free time, Tammi loves going to the beach and spending time with her two dogs.

Andrew is the eldest of Dr. Chadwick and his wife Nancy's three children. He obtained his Bachelor's in the Biological Sciences from the University of South Carolina in 2017. Andrew decided to move back to Charleston and join the team as a dental assistant in order to help the family business. His hobbies include running, hiking, birding, botany and exploring the world of craft beer.

Tiffany has been working in dentistry for 16 years. She's always had a passion for helping people and making a difference. Her charismatic attitude, leadership qualities, and extensive knowledge of the administrative tasks of the dental office have allowed her to obtain a managerial position at our practice. On her days off, Tiffany loves spending time with her fiancée Wes, her daughter McKenzie, her dogs Marley and Tucker, and her cats Apollo and Tiger. She enjoys boating, going to the beach and attending concerts.

Oxana is originally from Kazakhstan. She studied interior design there and quickly found she was more clinically inclined. It wasn’t long before she moved to the United States to pursue a career in dental hygiene and graduated with a degree from Trident Technical College. During her free time Oxana enjoys playing tennis and spending time with her son.

Tasha has worked in healthcare since she was a teenager. She's always had a strong work ethic and finds her life has more meaning when she stays busy. She began her career in healthcare working as a Certified Nursing Assistant and soon realized she desired a more stable work schedule within the same field. This led Tasha to pursue a career as a dental hygienist. She graduated from Trident Technical College with a degree in dental hygiene in 2003. Being able to interact with her patients and truly make a difference in their oral health is what Tasha finds most rewarding about her job. During her free time, she loves camping, boating, kayaking, working out and spending time with her family.

EJ began her career as a dental assistant in 2018. Her experience in prosthodontics has made her especially skilled in working on crowns, dentures, and bridges. She spends her free time cooking, candle making, and going on adventures with her son.

Rebecca has a rich background in Costa Rican tourism and vacation rentals. The tourism industry further fueled her love of people. She has a natural charisma that makes a wonderful addition to our front desk team. Rebecca is a mother of three beautiful children and enjoys fishing, cooking, and spending time with family during her free time.

Jessica was a military brat during her childhood. She’s lived in Japan, Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina. Travel has allowed her to easily adapt to different environments and people. Jessica began her career in the dental field as a dental assistant in Virginia. She later moved to Charleston and obtained her Dental Hygiene degree from Trident Technical College in 2010. Aside from dental hygiene, Jessica runs her own scrubs and dog breeding company. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and painting.

Blanca developed an interest in dentistry in high school. She plans on attending Trident to become a certified dental hygienist and is learning the inner workings of the dental workplace in the meantime. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, live music, and watching movies with her mother.

Max began her career in dentistry at the age of 19. She started off working the front desk and quickly realized she wanted a more hands-on role in the dental field. She became a hygiene assistant for 3 years where she learned the ropes to become a dental assistant. She’s been assisting for 20 years now. Max is very much a people person and loves getting to know her patients. The most fulfilling part of her job is making a difference in her patient’s lives by helping them achieve their dream smile.

Celeste has an early background in dentistry. At the age of 19 she began her career in dentistry as an assistant at Affordable Dentures. Celeste decided to delve into the administrative assisting side of dentistry upon joining Modern Family Dentistry. In her free time, Celeste enjoys spending time with her son, boating & visiting the beach.

Nancy is the Practice Manager, wife of Dr. Stephen Chadwick and mother of Andrew Chadwick, dental assistant. Nancy stepped in as manager in 2012 to help run and grow the practice. She works diligently to keep our patients and staff happy. During her free time, she loves spending time with her dogs and her daughters Lydia and Audrey.

Carla began her career in dentistry after graduating from the University of South Carolina. She filled our front desk position to get comfortable with dental terminology while waiting to begin dental hygiene school. It wasn’t long before Carla realized she much preferred the administrative side of dentistry over the clinical side. She enjoys helping our business grow through writing informational and engaging content. During her free time Carla enjoys singing with her band, traveling, and spending time with loved ones.
